CourtExpert Clipper — Privacy Policy

CourtExpert Clipper lets you copy a case you are already looking at in the Polish court information portal (Portal Informacyjny Sądów Powszechnych) into your own CourtExpert account, so it can be shown to you in plain language instead of registry shorthand.

It runs only when you click. It does not browse the portal on your behalf, it does not run in the background, and it does not run on a schedule.

What we do not collect

Your portal login. The extension never asks for, sees, or stores your username or password for the court portal. You log in to the portal exactly as you always have, in your own browser.

Your portal access token. The portal's own application keeps a session token in your browser. The extension reads it at the moment you click, uses it only to request the specific document you asked for from the portal itself, and discards it. It is never saved by the extension and never sent to our servers.

Browsing history. The extension is active only on court portal pages (*.sa.gov.pl) and on the CourtExpert setup page. It does not observe any other site you visit.

Analytics. There is none. No tracking pixels, no third-party scripts, no advertising identifiers.

What is sent to our servers

Only when you click a button, and only the following:

Case information you chose to send — the case number (__PLACEHOLDER_#__), court, department, subject, the list of court activities and their dates, the list of documents and their titles, and the parties as the portal lists them.
Document files you individually selected — one PDF per click, only for documents you point at. There is no bulk transfer.
Your CourtExpert account token — issued by CourtExpert to your own account, so the data reaches your account and nobody else's.

Nothing is sent automatically. If you never click, nothing leaves your browser.

Where it goes and who can see it

Data is sent to CourtExpert servers (mybooking.ai) over HTTPS and stored in your account. It is visible to you and to users of your organization who already have access to that case, under CourtExpert's normal permissions.

We do not sell this data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train models for other customers.

Court documents contain other people's data

Court case files name people who are not you — other parties, their lawyers, judges, witnesses. By bringing a case into CourtExpert you are placing that information in our systems.

If you are a law firm, you are responsible for having a lawful basis for processing it, and we act as your processor. If you are a private individual handling your own case, the data concerns proceedings you are party to.

Either way: only bring over what you actually need. The extension is built to let you choose case by case and document by document, rather than copying everything, precisely for this reason.

Storage in your browser

The extension stores, using Chrome's extension storage:

the address of your CourtExpert installation
your CourtExpert account token and its refresh token
which tabs of a case you have already sent, so it can tell you what is left

That is all. It is removed when you uninstall the extension.

5. Your Rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the data held in your account, including anything imported by this extension. Write to support_courtexpert@mybooking.ai.

Uninstalling the extension stops any further transfer immediately. Data already in your CourtExpert account stays there until you delete it.

Limits we have set ourselves

These explain design choices you can verify in how the extension behaves:

It does not automate access to the court portal. It reads the page you have open, when you ask it to.
It does not fetch documents in bulk. One click, one document.
It does not keep your portal credentials or token.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address, with a new date at the top.
